DIRECTIONS
1.
Prep: Hull and halve fresh strawberries.
2.
Puree: Run machine on Mode 1 (Blend) for 5 mins with strawberries and lime juice.
3.
Add Spirits: Stop, pour in rum and syrup.
4.
Freeze: Switch to Mode 2 (Slush) at -1.8°C.
5.
Serve: In a margarita glass with a lime wheel.
TIPS
Freshness
Fresh lime juice is key. Bottled juice will taste flat.
Texture
If using frozen strawberries, let them thaw slightly or use Mode 1 longer.
Sweetness
Taste the mix before freezing. It should taste slightly too sweet.
