Raspberry Lime Spiked Slush

A vibrant frozen cocktail that balances juicy raspberries with bright lime. Chill the base, pour into GSEICE, choose Frozen Juice, and pull silky ribbons of ice.

Finishers	Lime wheels, fresh raspberries, or a mint sprig. Adjust syrup to keep total sugar ≈10–14% for best freeze. Keep total ABV < 16%.

¼ cup lime juice (2 oz / 60 ml)
2–3 tbsp simple syrup
~1⅓ cups cold water (10–11 oz / 300–330 ml)
Optional: 1–1½ oz vodka

2 cups raspberry purée (16 oz / 480 ml)
½ cup lime juice (4 oz / 120 ml)
4–6 tbsp simple syrup
~2⅔ cups cold water (21–22 oz / 630–660 ml)
Optional: 2–3 oz vodka

6–8 Servings

2½ cups raspberry purée (20 oz / 600 ml)
¾ cup lime juice (6 oz / 180 ml)
6–8 tbsp simple syrup
~3½ cups cold water (28–30 oz / 840–900 ml)
Optional: 3–4 oz vodka

Guidance: total batch ≤ ~2.3 L. For consistent ribbons, aim sugar ≈ 10–14% and keep total ABV < 16%.

Directions

Blend raspberries to a smooth purée; strain seeds if desired.
Whisk purée with lime juice, simple syrup, and cold water until uniform.
Taste and adjust sweetness; optional: add vodka and re-taste.
Pre-chill the bowl and liquids when possible. Pour into the GSEICE slushy maker (≤ ~2.3 L).
Select Frozen Juice. When the flow slows and falls in silky ribbons, stop the cycle.
Serve in chilled glasses; garnish with lime wheels and raspberries.

Tips

Seed management

For an ultra-smooth slush, strain the purée through a fine sieve.

Sweet–tart balance

Raspberries vary in acidity. Adjust syrup and lime to keep the finish bright but not sharp.

Spirit swaps

Try white rum or tequila blanco at the same volumes; keep ABV under the 16% threshold.
