This classic chocolate milkshake is silky and rich—made with cold milk, cocoa, and chocolate syrup in the HS3L. Kid-friendly, dessert-worthy, and perfect for movie nights.

2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder
4 cups whole milk

4 2/3 cups whole milk
2 1/3 cups heavy cream
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup chocolate syrup
1/2 cup cocoa powder
Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate sauce, shaved chocolate.

For faster freezing and a thicker shake, start with well-chilled dairy.

Directions

  1. In a pitcher or large bowl, whisk together milk, cream, vanilla, sugar, chocolate syrup, and cocoa until fully dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into the HS3L (keep within the recommended 0.8–2.0 L for milkshakes).
  3. Select Milkshake. The unit cools to the ideal texture automatically.
  4. Freeze about 15–60 minutes, then dispense when the flow is smooth and ribbon-like. Serve immediately; top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce if desired.
